Prior to the start of the Formula 1 season, PokerStars (owned by Flutter Entertainment) has agreed to sponsor Red Bull Racing‘s Formula One team.

The online gambling and entertainment brand will be featured on team member race suits as well as the RB18 – the name of the new Formula One car planned for the 2017 season – as part of a multi-year agreement. PokerStars, which is owned by Flutter Entertainment, will try to tap into F1’s rising following, especially as technology developments in broadcasting let fans to experience the sport in new ways.

With PokerStars Casino, PokerStars, and PokerStars Sports goods all participating in branding opportunities, the relationship allows both organizations to access new audiences that have shared interests and hobbies.

Red Bull Racing, which has won the World Championship five times since 2010, is hoping that teammate Max Verstappen can replicate his success from last year in the coming season.
