Three World Poker Tour (WPT) tournaments which played down to the final table in 2020 but which had to be paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic have been scheduled to resume play in Las Vegas, at the PokerGO studios.
Each player will be required to take a COVID-19 test, and any player who is unlucky enough to test positive will receive a payout based on their chip stack and ICM (Independent Chip Model) valuation of their chips.
Affected tournaments
- WPT Gardens Poker Championship – Resumes 10th March 2021
- WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open – Final Table May 16, 2021
